How exciting! My very first blog post. Well, here it goes...

My name is Jasmine and I’m the owner of Weekend Swim. I am a 24–year-old California native, who has a love for travel, food, fashion, - oh -and my super cute dog, Princess. I've always wanted to start my own business. Thinking back to my childhood days, I guess you could say I was always an entrepreneur. I’m that person who always has a million ideas in their head and spends half their day daydreaming.

I work full-time at a super basic b**** job and can’t wait until Weekend Swim takes off. It’s not for the reason you may think either. I don’t want it to take off so I can be a millionaire and buy myself a Phantom, a few Louis Vuitton bags, and a couple pairs of Louboutin’s.  I want it to be successful so I can have something of my own. Something, so when I wake up every morning, I know that I am working because of a passion and not because I have to pay the bills. One can dream, right?

So let’s see, more about me: I got engaged a few months ago and have a wedding to plan, I am launching a new business, I work full-time, and I have like a million other things going on in my crazy life. Definitely not complaining, because I am super excited to be on this crazy journey called my life. And I’m super anxious to see where all this goes.

Now that you know a little about me your probably wondering what the hell I’m going to be blogging about. Well let’s see... My travels, how the new business is going, and of course, the 2 F's (Fashion and Food).
